February 29th is the closing date for applications for the next Federation visit to Denman College from 7th – 9th September 2012. Please do check with WI House for any late availability or to be added to the waiting list. We always have some cancellations, so don’t despair if you didn’t manage to get your application in on time. If you require any further information about the Federation visit or Denman College in general please don’t hesitate to contact me or ring WI House. I will be acting as College Host shortly and one of the courses on offer that weekend is on Flamenco, due to be featured in WI Life. This is one of the many new courses available. Don’t forget that if you travel by rail to Denman there is a free taxi service from Oxford and Didcot, you just need to contact the College beforehand to check on arrangements. If there is a course that you would like to do at Denman but you can’t find it in the brochure, then do contact Jane Dixon, Head of Denman; she is always looking for suggestions for new courses.

A special weekend get together has been organised from 25 – 27 May 2012 aimed at the new wave of WIs but anyone is welcome to apply to attend. There will be a selection of taster workshops from beading & cushion-making to Zumba & wine tasting, the cost for members is £235, non members £272. Contact the college for details: 01865 391991.

For all other information about Denman College with late availability of courses, special offers and discounts please check the website www.denmancollege.org.uk.
We are always on the look out for photos of Denman for the newsletter, I know many of you will have taken them on our last visit so please email them to WI House.
